Blessing for Today

May we begin to desire the courage to reach out to those who may be far from us, and the humility to reach out to those who are close to us.

My SoulCollage(tm) Card Show
I've been working with this process called SoulCollage(tm) and am having a great time with it. It's very personal, insightful and deep work if you want it to be. Brief intro: There are different “suits†suggested for the cards, e.g. Committee cards are parts of yourself. Council cards are archetypes that show up in your life. Companion cards are guides (say animal guides) associated with each chakra. Community cards are people or creatures in your life that have influenced you. To learn more about the creator of the process, Seena Frost, and all about SoulCollage(tm), you can find more at www dot soulcollage dotcom.

My zFriend, David (HeyOk) has a post re: US Media. Here's my favorite part, which is applicable to my concerns about corporations, even though my concerns come from a little different perspective.
From YES magazine:
Corporate power is an old problem for us in the United States. Thomas Jefferson warned us about it, as did Thomas Paine and George Washington. Nearly a century later, Abraham Lincoln viewed corporate power as an imminent danger to the Republic:
"I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. ... corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."
